Yo, hello! Welcome to my site, Fire + Knives. My name’s Clyde Grant II. I’m currently a chef at Quattro, a high end Italian restaurant located in the Four Seasons Hotel, in downtown Houston, Texas. I’m also a chef at Radical Eats, a restaurant that has a great abundance of locally grown fare and is relatively new to the Montrose area in Houston, Texas. I enjoy the culinary arts, photography, music, technology and a host of other things you’ll come to learn as you join me on my journey.
What’s my journey you ask? Its to grow as a human being, chef, artist and to empower the public through food. I aim to eventually have my own food truck, and after that my own restaurant (even then, there will be more goals for me to attain). I’ll be creating a video series soon to teach everyone recipes, techniques, and ingredients that can be used by anyone to enhance their cooking experience while saving money.
